NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A689 from its junction with the U7014 County Boundary to Slaggyford Junction, heading north for 400 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 4th March 2019 until the 31st August 2019. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 4th March 2019 until the 26th May 2019 Monday to Friday between the hours of 09:00-16:00 during this period. The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A689, A686, A69, C324, C323, A689 and vice-versa.
