The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Common) (Parking Places) (No. 2) Order 2019 The Wandsworth (Wandsworth Town) (Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2019 The Wandsworth (Loading Bays) (No. 1) Order 2019
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 18th February 2019 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be:
(a) In Althorp Road, on the south-west side, to extend the existing shared use parking place by 5.4 metres, opposite No. 3 Althorp Road;
(b) In Bellevue Road, on the south-east side, to remove the existing shared use parking place outside No. 23 Bellevue Road and install a new loading bay outside Nos. 22 and 23 Althorp Road;
(c) in Coliston Passage, to install "at any time" loading restrictions along the entire length on both sides to prevent vehicles obstructing access to properties on Coliston Passage when they are loading / unloading to the shops on Merton Road;
(d) in Merton Road, on the south-east side, to convert 15 metres of the existing pay and display bay outside Nos. 181 to 185 Merton Road, currently operating Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm, to a new pay and display bay operating Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. A new single yellow line waiting restriction operating Monday to Friday 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm will be installed in the new bay outside Nos. 181 to 185 Merton Road, to provide loading / unloading facilities for the local businesses;
(e) in Lower Richmond Road:
(i) on the footway outside Putney Lower Common Cemetery, to install short stay parking bays, that will operate Monday to Sunday, 7am to 7pm with a minimum stay of 3 hours;
(ii) on the north-east side, outside Putney Lower Common Cemetery, to install "at any time" waiting restrictions to prevent obstructive parking and improve pedestrian safety; and
(Mi) on the north-east side, to amend the single yellow line waiting restrictions, so that they operate Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, from adjacent to Putney Lower Common Cemetery, south-eastwards for a distance of 159 metres; and
(iv) on the south-west side, to amend the single yellow line waiting restrictions, so that they operate Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm, from opposite Putney Lower Common Cemetery, south-eastwards for a distance of 245 metres;
(f) in Queen's Ride, to amend the single yellow line waiting restrictions, so that they operate Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm:
(i) on the north-west side, from opposite Hallam Road to 11 metres south-west of its junction with Lower Richmond Road; and
(ii) on the south-east side, from Hallam Road to 26 metres south-west of its junction with Lower Richmond Road;
(g) in Strathdon Drive, to convert the existing single yellow line waiting restrictions, between No. 131 Strathdon Drive and its south-western extremity, to "at any time" waiting restrictions.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 11 th March 2019, and of documents and plans giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
