TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that Highways England Company Limited has made an Order on the M4 and M40 Motorways and A40 Trunk Road in the County of Buckinghamshire, the London Borough of Hillingdon, and the Unitary Authority of Slough, under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. The effect of the Order is to authorise the phased overnight closure of:-
1. the clockwise carriageway of the A40 Denham Roundabout between the roundabout withA412 Denham Road and the centreline of the M40 Junction 1 London-bound exit slip road;

2. the road connecting from the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 to the westbound carriageway of the M40 at Junction 16;

3. the roads connecting to both carriageways of the M25 from the westbound carriageway of the M40 at Junction 16 (M40 Junction 1A); and

4. the roads connecting the westbound carriageway of the M4 to both carriageways of the M25 at Junction 4B.

These measures are in the interests of road safety while contractors undertake carriageway works, electrical works, highways maintenance works, and all associated works. It is expected that the work will last for approximately 9 months starting on or after Monday 4th March 2019. The overnight closures will take place between (maximum period): Monday-Thursdays 22:00-05:30 Fridays 23:00-06:00

Saturdays 22:00 - 06:00

Sundays 22:30 - 05:30

The Order will come into force on 2nd March 2019 and have a maximum duration of eighteen months. Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted by using the M4, M40 and A40. The diversion route will vary depending on the closure in force. The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
