ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 BRIDLEWAY NO. 48 TURKS LANE
THE POOLE (BRIDLEWAY NO. 48 -TURKS LANE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists on Bridleway No. 48 Turks Lane should be prohibited and has made an Order in exercise of its powers under The Highways Act 1980, The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Local Authorities Traffic Order (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996, the effect of which is that no person or vehicle shall proceed along the bridleway as indicated above. The proposed closure is required for resurfacing The proposed Order is effective from Monday 4 March to Wednesday 6 March 2019 (three days). The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of six months if required.
If the works are not completed within the statutory
period the Order may be extended with the approval of
the Secretary of State for Transport.
Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in
contravention of the Order will be liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
