Highway Improvement TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Bournemouth, in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic. WHAT: Speed limit of 40mph for all vehicles travelling on the highway in any direction. The speed limit will be in operation as and when indicated by the signs on site. WHERE: On both sides of the carriageway on the A338 Wessex Way for a distance of approximately 600 metres, from the point at which the bus stop lay-by rejoins the northbound carriageway (located in line with Harewood Avenue) to the point at which the Cooper Dean northbound off-slip commences.
WHY: Highway Improvement works by Dorset County Council and Bournemouth Borough Council working in partnership WHEN: Anticipated dates 23rd February 2019 until 9th February 2020 ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
