NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1033 Broome Lane From C1035 To Broome Farm, Eardisland, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1033 Broome Lane From C1035 To Broome Farm, Eardisland, from the junction with the C1035 to Hay Bridge. Grid Ref: 341881/258731. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1035 onto the A44 onto the C1032 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new electricity cable connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of February 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
