Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the: C1298 From B4224 To Sapness House, Sollers Hope, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the U70011 Lyndalls Lane to the junction with the U70009 Perryfields. Grid Ref: 361779/232795. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4224 onto the C1296 onto the C1295 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the replacement of a leaking stop tap and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of March 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
