EARLY LEARNING AND CHILDCARE REGISTRATION WEEK: 25th February - 1st March 2019 Applications can be made at South Ayrshire Council Early Years Centres and Funded Providers during registration week.

Entitlement and age of children registering for early learning and childcare.

Children born between 1/03/15 and 28/02/17 are eligible for early learning and childcare. Children born between 1/03/16 - 18/08/16 will normally start in August. Children born between 19/08/16 -28/02/17 will normally start the week after their 3rd birthday. In 2019-2020 children will be entitled to 600 hours of early learning and childcare. Some of our centres will be able to offer a more flexible arrangement to suit the needs of parents and families. Some centres will be offering 1140 hrs of funded early learning and childcare, a year earlier than the national roll out in August 2020. (Please see website for details)
