NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 The Somerset County Council

(Footpath T 32/10 (part) in the Parish of West Monkton) Public Path Diversion Order, 2013 On 18 January 2019 Somerset County Council confirmed the above named Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert:-Part of public footpath T 32/10 starting from its junction with the county road (point Aon the order plan) and running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 90 metres to point B. To a footpath which starts from the new turning head (point C on the order plan) and runs in a generally south easterly direction along the hogging path for approximately 80 metres to point D and then in a generally west north westerly direction for approximately 15 metres to point B. A copy of the order and the order plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at:

1 Somerset County Council, Second Floor, B Block, County Hall, Taunton, (please report to reception and ask to speak to someone from the Rights of Way Definitive Map Team), from 9.30am until 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order may be bought there at the price of £10.00.



2 Taunton Deane Borough Council, The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton, from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.



The Order, comes into force on 15 February 2019. If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 7 February 2019, make an application to the High Court.
