NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF CHARITY LAND

North Cemetery House, North Cemetery, North Road, Darlington DL1 2JS

NOTICE IS GIVEN pursuant to the Charities Act 2011, section 121 (2) (a), that Darlington Borough Council acting as trustee of the charity land at North Cemetery, North Road, Darlington proposes to dispose of part of the charity land comprising North Cemetery House, North Cemetery, North Road, Darlington DL1 2JS byway of an auction sale of a long leasehold interest of 999 years.

pursuant to the Charities Act 2011, section 121 (2) (a), that Darlington Borough Council acting as trustee of the charity land at North Cemetery, North Road, Darlington proposes to dispose of part of the charity land comprising North Cemetery House, North Cemetery, North Road, Darlington DL1 2JS byway of an auction sale of a long leasehold interest of 999 years.

The income from the proceeds of sale will be used to fund ongoing upkeep, repair and maintenance of the North Cemetery.

Representations on the proposed disposal are invited within one month of the date of this notice.
