Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1039, Yarpole, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1039, Yarpole, near the junction with Redwood Lane. Grid Ref: 347244/265012. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Green Lane onto the B4362 onto the C1039 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to urgent tree removal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th of March 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
