THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES TRAFFIC ORDER (PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 1996 SHORT DURATION ROAD CLOSURE LOWER BLANDFORD ROAD SOUTHBOUND LANE CLOSURE The Borough and County of the Town of Poole hereby gives Notice that from 9.30am until 4pm on Wednesday 27 February 2019 no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed southbound along Lower Blandford Road from the junction with Fontmell Road to Darby's Corner. Frontagers and Emergency Services will be given precise details of the works in due course. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated on a one-off basis. A diversion will be signed. Access will be for residents only.
This temporary short duration closure is necessary for carriageway resurfacing and the Council is satisfied that vehicles on the said section of road shall be prohibited on the above date.
