LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) NORMAN ROAD
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate sewer repairs and because works are being executed on or near the carriageway it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 18 February 2019, with works expected to take 2 weeks to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close Norman Road, Sutton.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Tate Road, Gander Green Lane and vice versa.
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) CAMBRIDGE ROAD, CARSHALTON
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate telecoms works and because these works are being executed on or near the road it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Thursday 30 January 2019 with works expected to take 1 week to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will in Cambridge Road temporarily:-
? close the western footway from outside No. 22 to its junction with Carshalton Road; and
? introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' on its:-
? western side outside No. 8 to its junction with Carshalton Road;
? eastern side outside No. 7 to its junction with Carshalton Road.
4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 18 February 2019 with works expected to take 4 weeks to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' on both sides of the road in Coomber Way from the Transport for London Tram Depot westwards for a distance ?f 100 metres.
4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Council of the London Borough of Sutton with the agreement of the London Borough of Merton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate electrical works and because the works are being executed on or near the road it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 18 February 2019 with works expected to take 4 days to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. Whilst the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' on both sides of the road in:-
? Forest Road between No. 65 and its junction with Love Lane;
? Glastonbury Road between No.123 and its junction with Love Lane; and
? Love Lane outside No's 107 to 115.
4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to make the following Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
(a) The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*; and
(b) The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 201*.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-
a. introduce/amend certain lengths of 'at any time' waiting and loading restrictions double yellow lines and kerb markings in the following roads Brighton Road at its junction with Chiltern Road and Cotswold Road.
b. amend the map-based tiles to the schedule attached to The Sutton (Charged-For Parking Places) Order 2017 and to The Sutton (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) Order 2017 to match conditions as they exist on site.
3. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes, under section 90A of the Highways Act 19802 to construct the type of road humps known as "raised tables" for the following locations at their junction with Brighton Road.
(a) Chiltern Road with a length of approximately 18.25 metres including the ramps; and
(b) Cotswold Road with a length of approximately 8.5 metres including the ramps
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.
5. 6. FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton has approved under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to provide in the following roads:-
(a) Brighton Road a Pelican crossing located north of its junction with Chiltern Road, the overall length of the crossing and regulatory zig zag marking will be 31.8 metres.
(b) Chiltern Road a Zebra crossing and cycle facility (parallel crossing) located near the junction with Brighton Road on the raised table referred to in sub-paragraph 3(a) of this Notice. The overall length of the crossing and regulatory zig zag markings will be 42.8 metres; and
(c) Cotswold Road a Zebra Crossing located near the junction with Brighton Road on the raised table referred to in sub-paragraph 3(b) of this Notice. The overall length of the crossing and regulatory zig zag markings will be 26.3 metres.
Associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping and overtaking at all times, would be placed on the carriageway either side of the pedestrian crossing, extending up to a maximum of 17.5 metres either side of the crossing.
7. FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton, as part of this proposal, and by the powers conferred under section 15 of the Greater London Council (General Powers) Act 1974 is resolving, removal of the footway parking exemption for the following locations:-
(a) outside No. 16 Danescourt Crescent, Sutton;
(b) outside Nos. 71 to 73 Downs Road, Belmont;
(c) outside No. 70 Green Wrythe Lane, Carshalton;
(d) outside 114-116 Sutton Common Road, Sutton; and
(e) outside No. 55-57 Wigmore Road, Carshalton.

(b) Talbot Road, Carshalton, extend and introduce double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions adjacent to Carshalton Place on the new road hump mentioned in item 3(b) below (including relocation of existing school keep clear marking);
3. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes, under section 90A of the Highways Act 19802 to construct the type of road humps known as:-
(a) an "entry treatment" in Groveside Close at its junction with Green Wrythe Lane, with a length of approximately 5 metres including ramps; and
(b) a raised table in Talbot Road between Carshalton Place and No. 29, with a length of approximately 6 metres including the ramps;
Each road hump would be an elevated section of carriageway with a flat top, 75 millimetres higher at its highest point than the surrounding carriageway, a gradient of 1:20, and will be constructed to full road width.
4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday.

FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton has approved under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to provide a "Zebra" pedestrian crossing in Mulgrave Road east of its junction with Bridge Road and Worcester Road located outside Mulgrave Manor the overall length of the crossing and regulatory zig zag markings will be 30.4 metres;
Associated zig-zag markings, on which vehicles would be prohibited from stopping and overtaking at all times, would be placed on the carriageway either side of the pedestrian crossing, extending up to a maximum of 17.5 metres on the west side and 8.4 metres on the east side of the crossing.
