Appeals by Queens Crystal Palace Euro Hotel (Jersey) Ltd Relating to the applications to London Borough of Croydon
For the demolition of existing buildings to the centre and rear of the site and existing extensions to the roof, and the construction of a new spine building including glazed link to part retained mews building, an extension from the southwestern facing elevation of the existing locally listed building, a single storey extension to the restaurant, subterranean accommodation, parking, a swimming pool and servicing space, to create a total of 530 hotel rooms and 170 vehicle parking spaces, the re-cladding of the 1970's extension with ground floor canopy, provision of enhanced landscaping across the site including 3 coach parking spaces to the front, formation of a vehicle access and the adaption of existing entrance to the hotel (amended plans and description) (Application No 17/02192/FUL) (Appeal Ref:- APP/ L5240/W/18/3203673).

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council propose to make the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

6. The Order is intended to introduce new/extend existing disabled parking bays in roads where difficulty is being experienced in the parking of disabled persons' vehicles due to heavy demand for parking in those areas. The order would also revoke those disabled parking bays which are no longer required in order to make best use of kerb space.

PROPOSED REMOVAL OF TWO FREE PARKING SPACES IN MELVILLE AVENUE, SOUTH CROYDON CROHAM FREE PARKING AREA
The Croydon (Croham Area) (Free Parking Places) (No.K2) Traffic Order, 20-
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Order under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to remove a free parking bay (two car spaces long) opposite No. 61 Melville Avenue to accommodate a "School Keep Clear" marking outside a new school. The "School Keep Clear" marking would extend from a point 15.75 metres south-west of the south-western kerb-line of Coombe Road, south-westwards for a distance of 25.5 metres.

3. Copies of the proposed Order and of all related Orders, of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of the plan which indicates the length of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Order was made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not
