LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) RIDGE ROAD AND SUTTON COMMON ROAD
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to carry out construction of entry tables and facilitate safety improvement works, it made an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 21 January 2019, with works expected to take 5 weeks to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily close:-
? Beeches Road at its junction with Ridge Road; and
? Ridge Road
o between No's 212 and 220 including at its junction with Beeches Road; and
? at their junction with Sutton Common Road; o Gillian Park Road
o Selwood Road; and o Tonfield Road
Please note that not all of the closures will be in force at the same time.
4. An alternative route for vehicular traffic whilst the road closures are in force will be for:-
? Beeches Road via Stonecot Hill, Burleigh Road;
? Gillian Park Road via Sutton Common Road, Selwood Road;
? Selwood Road via Sutton Common Road, Gillian Park Road;
? Ridge Road via Stonecot Hill, Burleigh Road; and
? Tonfield Road via Sutton Common Road, Gillian Park Road.
All diversion routes will be vice versa.
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

LONDON BOROUGH OF SUTTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) COLLINGWOOD ROAD
1. The Council of the London Borough of Sutton hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate gas main replacements works and because these works are being executed on or near the carriageway and public right of way it intends to make an Order the effect of which is summarised in paragraph 3 below.
2. The Order will come into effect on Monday 4 February 2019, with works expected to take 8 weeks to complete. However the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.
3. When the works are taking place and the appropriate traffic signs are displayed the Order will temporarily in the following:-
? PROW No. 13 that part running between Collingwood Road and St James Avenue, prohibit pedestrians form entering and exiting; and
? Collingwood Road from its junction with Beulah Road to Crown Road and Beauchamp Road, introduce waiting restrictions - 'no waiting at any time' and loading restrictions - 'no loading at any time' (including the suspension of the Permit Holders or Pay & Display parking bays opposite Nos 75 to 81).
Please note that the above public right of way closure will be carried out in phases.
4. Any vehicle that is in contravention of the temporary waiting & loading restrictions at a time
when these restrictions apply will be removed to an alternative location in accordance with the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. The prohibitions specified above apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton propose to made the following Order on 14 January 2019 under sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended -
1. The principal objective of the Order The Sutton (Speed Limit) (20mph) (Butter Hill Area) (No. 2) Order 2019 is to improve the environment for both pedestrians and cyclists by introducing a 20mph speed limit.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph zone in Arcadia Close; Burleigh Avenue; Butter Hill; Caledon Road; Curran Avenue; Devonshire Road; Elm Grove Parade; Leechcroft Road; Lyndon Avenue; Parkfields Close; St Mary Avenue; Vellum Drive; Victoria Avenue; and Westcroft Road between No. 54 and Manor Road North.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 21 January 2019 and of the Orders that will be revoked or amended by this Order, the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations and the effects of the Order may be inspected at the Council's Environment, Housing and Regeneration Offices
at 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday to Friday.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of these Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of the said Act of 1984 or of any instrument made under the said Act of 1984 has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply for the purpose to the High Court
