Flaxton Meadows Development Ltd has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Flaxton Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State. The proposed works are: Excavation to install 3 metres of 63mm diameter water main and connect to existing water main already installed in verge i.e. common land. The works will be located on the grass verge approximately 500 metres from the cattle crossing. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Woodlands Farm Offices, Flaxton, York YO60 7QZ during normal office hours until 22/02/2019. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents may be obtained by writing to Flaxton Meadows Development Ltd at the address below.
