Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80005, West Street, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80005, West Street, Hereford, between the junction of the A49 and Berrington Street car park . Grid Ref: 350724 / 239986. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Broad Street onto Kings Street onto Berrington Street and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to underground structure maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 20th of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
