Credenhill, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: A480, Credenhill, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A480, Credenhill, from the junction with Station Road to the junction with the C1103. Grid Ref: 345205/243690 to 345396/243743. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A480 onto the A4112 onto the A438 onto the A480 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to footway widening works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
