Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80331 Holmer Road Service Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80331 Holmer Road Service Road, Hereford, outside B&Q (from the 14th January for 2 weeks) and outside B&M (from the 28th January for 6 weeks). Grid Ref: 350614/241691 and 350610/241330. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A49 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new trunk main and sewer reinforcement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 14th of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 weeks.
