Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U72620, The Vauld, Marden, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U72620, The Vauld, Marden, between the junction of Litmarsh Road and the junction with the C1125. Grid Ref: 354241 / 249311. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Litmarsh Road onto the C1120 onto Gravel Lane onto the C1125 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to rural fibre installation works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 28th of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 2 weeks.
