NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U80220 Southbank Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order 2019,

to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U80220 Southbank Road, Hereford, from the junction with the C1127 Bodenham Road to the junction with the C1320 Folly Lane. Grid Ref:352061/240378. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via theC1130 Folly Lane onto the A438 Ledbury Road onto the C1127 Bodenham Road andvice versa.

The said closure is required due to water mains renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 29 days.
