Notice of Application for continuation of Hazardous Substances Consent
I give notices that BASF plc and Solenis UK Industries Limited are applying to The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council for the continuation of Hazardous Substance Consent used for storage and chemical manufacturing using hazardous substances. The site at Dealburn Road, Low Moor, Bradford, BD12 0RG will be standalone within BASF plc and the main site at PO Box 38, Cleckheaton Road, Bradford, BD12 0JZ will be standalone Solenis UK Industries Limited. There is no further increase to the overall amount of hazardous substances currently on either site and these applications are the result of BASF plc combining with Solenis UK Industries Limited. The transition of the two sites has involved consultation with the Environmental Agency and the Health and Safety Executive. Members of the public may inspect a copy of the application at The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, Major Developments Team and Minerals and Waste Planning Team, Britannia House, Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 1HX during all reasonable hours no later than 24th January 2019. Representations about these applications (including comments or questions) may be made to The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (who are the hazardous substance authority) no later than 24th January 2019. The relevant information can be obtained from the hazardous substances authority. The hazardous substance authority will decide whether or not to grant consent and if to grant, will decide on what conditions to grant. Signed: David James Calder on behalf of BASF plc and Solenis UK Industries Limited.
