NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1239 From B4347 To Castlefield Farm, Kentchurch, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1239 From B4347 To Castlefield Farm, Kentchurch, from the junction of the B4347 from The Bridge Inn to Gwent boundary for 250m. Grid Ref:341205 / 225779. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via theB4347 onto the C1234 onto Llanithog Road onto the C1239 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to overhead cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 3rd of January 2019 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 Day.
