DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL YARM ROAD, DARLINGTON (TEMPORARY CLOSURE), ORDER 2018
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be:
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
B6280 YARM ROAD
From its junction on the east side of Morton Park Roundabout eastwards to the A66 Roundabout
An alternative route will be signed via A66, B6279 Tornado Way, McMullen Road and vice versa.
A67 YARM ROAD
From its junction with A66 Roundabout eastwards to the access road to Morton Grange Farm
An alternative route will be signed via A66, Mill Lane, Long Newton Road and vice versa
It is anticipated that the closures will be effective between 2000 hours and 0600 hours as required for 3months.
TEMPORARY 40MPH SPEED LIMIT A67 YARM ROAD
From its junction with A66 Roundabout eastwards for 200metres
The Order is necessary to permit road widening works.
The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 6th January 2019.
