In January 2019 Lewisham Council will commence the fourth year of a memorial safety inspection programme within its cemeteries. The inspections will consist of a visual check and/ or a hand test undertaken by trained staff in accordance with the Council's Memorial Safety Policy.
Testing will take place at the following cemeteries and plots during the fourth year of the programme:
Hither Green; TT, SS, HH, FF, DD, AA, PP, P, M, R, U,J, DZ, BZ, AZ, A1,B1,C1,D1
Grove Park; A, B, Y, YY, J, I, MM
Ladywell; F, H

If you are a visitor to our cemeteries, you may see notices regarding the inspection at the cemetery entrance and on specific plots.
