FOOTPATH NO.25 STANHOPE PARISH,

ST JOHN'S CHAPEL WARD) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2014

The above-named Order made by the Council on 10/12/2014, under section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and which became operational on 15/12/2014 has been continued in force from 15/12/2018, as approved by the Secretary of State for Transport, for up to a further 24 months or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to temporarily close to all pedestrian traffic a 406 mtr length of Footpath No. 25 Stanhope Parish (St John's Ward) that extends north westwards from the side of the properties at Middle Blackdene, St John's Chapel to its junction with Rd C77 adjacent to High Barnes, Newhouse. Alternative route from the south eastern side of the closure from Middle Blackdene southwards on Footpath No 23 to Bridge End Ford then westwards along Footpath No 22 to Coronation Bridge, northwards along Well Bank to Newhouse to the north western side of the closure, and vice versa.
