ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 MONTPELIER ROAD, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate construction works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to introduce one-way working, waiting restrictions and to relocate a disabled parking bay in Montpelier Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-

(i) one-way working will be introduced in Montpelier Road from its junction with Biddulph Road towards its junction with Kingsdown Avenue (the section of Montpelier Road between its junction with Brighton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road will remain two-way);
(ii) the disabled bay in Montpelier Road immediately south of the footpath leading to Nos. 59 to 65 Montpelier Road will be relocated to a position immediately north of that footpath;

(iii) waiting restrictions prohibiting parking will apply "at any time" in Montpelier Road as follows:

(a) on the north-west side - from a point 4 metres south-west of a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to a point 10 metres north-east of the junction opposite the common boundary of Nos. 86 and 88 Montpelier Road;

(b) on the south-east side - from a point 4 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 78 and 80 Montpelier Road to the common boundary of Nos. 90 and 92 Montpelier Road.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. Whilst the restrictions are in force the diversion route for traffic will be via local roads as appropriately signed.

5. The Order will come into operation on 06 December 2018 remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CHURCHILL ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a fire hydrant exchange, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Churchill Road.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in Churchill Road from the common boundary of Nos. 71 and 73 Churchill Road to the common boundary of Nos. 83 and 85 Churchill Road.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;

(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

4. The Order will come into operation on 07 January 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately four days, between 8.00am and 5.00pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
