(VARIOUS ROADS, WOKINGHAM BOROUGH) (GIGACLEAR BDUK PROGRAMME)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on the 26th November 2018 Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority made an Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:
1. Chequers Lane, Swallowfield between its junctions with Barge Lane and Wokingham District Boundary.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Chequers Lane, Trowes Lane, New Street, Green Lane, A33 Basingstoke Road, Welsh Lane, or by this route in reverse
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 3rd December and 14th December 2018
2. Dell Road, Finchampstead between its junctions with B3348 The Ridges and Lower Sandhurst Road

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Lower Sandhurst Road, Cricket Hill, B3016 Longwater Lane, B3016 Jubilee Road, B3348 The Ridges or by this route in reverse.
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 7th January and 21 st January 2019.
3. White Horse Lane, Finchampstead between its junctions with Church Lane and Nine Mile Ride.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Church Lane, B3016 Finchampstead Road and Nine Mile Ride, or by this route in reverse.
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 28th January and 11th February 2019
4. Church Lane, Finchampstead between its junctions with B3016 Finchampstead Road and White Horse Lane.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Church Lane (South), B3016 Jubilee Road (East and North) and B3016 Finchampstead Road or by this route in reverse
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 10th January and 31st January 2019.
5. Church Lane, Finchampstead between its junctions with B3016 Jubilee Road and White Horse Lane

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Church Lane (East),B3016 Finchampstead Road (South), B3016 Jubilee Road (South and West), or by this route in reverse
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 10th January and 31st January 2019.
6. Access Road from Lambs Lane to Loddon Lower Farm from its junction with Lambs Lane, for its entirety

Works requiring this restriction will take place between 25th February and 8th March 2019.
7. Bull Lane, Swallowfield between its junctions with Barge Lane and B3349 Basingstoke Road.

The alternative route for all vehicles affected by this restriction shall be via Barge Lane, Welsh Lane, Odiham Road, B3349 Basingstoke Road, or by this route in reverse.
Works requiring this restriction will take place between 25th February and 21st March 2019.
The reason for these prohibitions is allow Gigaclear contractors to undertake BDUK Superfast Broadband work in safety.
Access for residents and businesses within the boundaries of these restrictions will be maintained at all times.
The restriction imposed by the Order shall only apply during those periods when traffic signs complying with the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016 are lawfully displayed.
The restrictions contained in the Order shall come into operation on the 3rd December 2018 and shall continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
