MARINE AND COASTAL ACCESS ACT 2009 APPLICATION FOR

Notice is hereby given that QinetiQ, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, has applied to the Marine Management Organisation under the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009, Part 4, for a marine licence to undertake maintenance works on Foulness Island and Shoeburyness flood defences.

Plans showing the position of the works may be inspected at Great Wakering Library, 16 High Street, Great Wakering, Essex, SS3 0EQ.
Copies of the Application and associated information may be viewed on line in the Public Register at: http://www.gov.uk/check-marine-licence-register

Representations or objections in respect of the application should be made in writing, giving an address to which correspondence relating to the representation or objection may be sent, to the Marine Management Organisation, Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7YH, or alternatively emailed to: benjamin.lander@marinemanagement.org.uk within 14 days of 8 July 2015, quoting reference: MLA/2015/00025. The Marine Management Organisation will pass to the applicant a copy of any objection or representation we receive.
