ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CARBERRY ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install
a new water connection, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements on Carberry Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Carberry Road will be closed adjacent to the flank wall of No. 29a Westow Street;
(b) any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the works will be introduced as required.
3. During the works pedestrians will be directed to the opposite footway.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any person or vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 23 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three days, between 8am and 5.00pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works being required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MORLAND ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water main
repair works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Morland Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Morland Road will be closed to vehicular traffic at its junction with Gordon Crescent;
(b) Parking will be suspended outside and opposite Nos.10a to 20a Morland Road as necessary to facilitate vehicle movements.
3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 19 November 2018 made the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce loading bays, combined loading bays/taxi ranks and combined limited time free parking bays/taxi ranks as described in the Schedule to this Order. The Orders would also revoke a redundant police parking bay to provide a loading bay.
