THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES TRAFFIC ORDER (PROCEDURE) (ENGLAND AND WALES) REGULATIONS 1996 SHORT DURATION ROAD CLOSURE LONGFLEET ROAD
The Borough and County of the Town of Poole hereby gives Notice that from 8pm on Saturday 15 December until 7am on Sunday 16 December 2018 no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Longfleet Road, north of its junction with Elizabeth Road to the junction with Fernside Road. Frontagers and Emergency Services will be given precise details of the works in due course. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated on a one-off basis. A diversion will be signed. Access will be for residents only.
This temporary short duration closure is necessary for a crane lift to deliver an MRI scanner to Poole Hospital and the Council is satisfied that vehicles on the said section of road shall be prohibited on the above date.
