Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A449, Much Marcle, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the A449, Much Marcle, from a point approximately 300 meters south of the junction with the B4204 to outside Bodenham Farm on the A449.

The said restriction is required due to highway repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said restriction will come into force on 2nd of November 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
