DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - Princess Road The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.14) Traffic Order 2018

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 22 October 2018 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order will be to:



(a) relocate the existing disabled parking place in Princess Road outside No. 15a to a point 3.5 metres south-west of its current position (as detailed below);



(b) designate new a parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in Princess Road outside No.15 (as detailed below).

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 29 October 2018 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.



4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1 EA.



5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS COOMBE ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate water main replacement works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Coombe Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Coombe Road will be closed outside number 307.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via South End, Selsdon Road and St Peter's Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 29 October 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS GREEN COURT AVENUE, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate Thames Water works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Green Court Avenue, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Green Court Avenue, between its junctions with Craigen Avenue and Shirley Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Ashburton Avenue, Craigen Avenue and Shirley Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 20 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 LONG LANE AND LONGHEATH GARDENS, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas mains diversionary works, they intend to make an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Long Lane and Longheath Gardens, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



(a) Long Lane will be closed between Nos.255 to Nos.263;



(b) temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced 'At any time' on both sides of the road in Long Lane from Nos.255 to No.263;



(c) temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced 'At any time' on both sides of the road in Longheath Gardens from Nos.6 to 263.



3. The Order will come into operation on 19 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 20 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS MORLAND ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a vehicle holding area for construction vehicles involved in building development works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Morland Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) permit/pay and display parking bays on the south-east (even-numbered) side of Morland Road will be removed, between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 7 and 9 Morland Road and a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 23 and 25 Morland Road;

(b) new parking bays will be introduced in the above location and restricted to authorised permit holders only between 6am and 7pm, Monday to Saturday, to provide a vehicle holding area for construction vehicles.

3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



4. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2018 and remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PURLEY HIGH STREET, PURLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Purley High Street, Purley.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



(a) No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Purley High Street, between its junctions with Whytecliffe Road South/Purley Road and Woburn Avenue;



(b) Parking bays will be temporarily suspended both sides of Purley High Street to facilitate the crane operation;



(c) Any other temporary traffic management measures will be introduced as required to facilitate the said works.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Brighton Road and Whytecliffe Road South as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 18 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the delivery and installation of concrete slabs, they intend to make an Order



the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Purley Rise, Purley.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Purley Rise, between No. 33 Purley Rise and the rear of No. 60 Brighton Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Brighton Road and the north-easternmost junction of Purley Rise, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 09 November 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days between 8am and 5pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.



5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
