London Borough of Lewisham Statement of Licensing Principles for Gambling 2019-22
The Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (England and Wales) Regulations 2006 require that the licensing authority publicise the consultation regarding any revision to the Statement of Licensing Principles. Under The Gambling Act 2005 the licensing authority is required to consult with the following persons upon revision to the statement of licensing principles:
the chief officer of police for the area one or more persons who appear to the authority to represent the interests of persons carrying on gambling businesses in the authority's area
one or more persons who appear to the authority to represent the interests of persons who are likely to be affected by the exercise of the authority's functions under the Gambling Act 2005.
The London Borough of Lewisham is giving notice of consultation which is taking place between 10 October and 21 November 2018 on the revised Statement of Licensing Principles for Gambling.
The consultation can be found at www.lewisham.gov.uk/ consultation.
A copy of the revised Statement of Licensing Principles for Gambling will also be available to view at the following address:

Representations on the revised Statement of Licensing Principles for Gambling should be made by 21 November 2018.
