DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL PARKGATE, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2018

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

PARKGATE

From the east side of the access road to the railway station eastwards to the roundabout at Neasham Road junction

An alternative route will be signed via Yarm Road, McMullen Road, Tornado Way, Haughton Road, Freeman's Place, St Cuthbert's Way and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to allow installation of a footbridge on Parkgate

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 25th October 2018, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective from 2330hours on 25th October until 0630hours on 26th October
