NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A438 From Ledbury Road To River Lugg, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the A438 From Ledbury Road To River Lugg, Hereford, from the eastern entrance of Netherwood Lane for approximately 300m east. Grid Ref: 353650 / 240312. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A438 via Bath Street onto the A465 via Aylestone Hill onto the A4103 via Shucknall onto the A417 via Ashperton onto the A438 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to Resurfacing and White Lining works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st of November 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
