Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the: C1295 From Woolhope Cockshoot To Nupend Farm Via Woolhope, Woolhope, Temporary Road Closure Order 2018, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Wessington Farm. Grid Ref: 360303/235005. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1297 onto the B4224 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 5th of November 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
