Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1127 Southbank Road, Hereford, Temporary Lane Closure Order 2018, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the roads shown in schedule 1 below. The diversion routes for the lane closure will be via Aylestone Hill onto Folly Lane onto the A438 onto Bodenham Road and vice versa.

The said restrictions are required due to water mains renewal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said Order will come into force on the 22nd October and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks. Schedule 1

i). Southbank Road - no access from Aylestone Hill - no vehicles travelling eastbound from Aylestone Hill to junction with Bodenham Road.

ii) Southbank Close - No right hand turn into Southbank Road



iii) Elm Road - No left hand turn into Southbank Road
