Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U66411 Broad Croft Road, Bosbury Temporary Road Closure Order 2018, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U66411, Broad Croft Road, Bosbury, from the junction with the C1159 to outside Lavender Cottage. Grid Ref: 368164 / 244590. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1160 onto the C1159 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the excavation of a trial hole to locate water services and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd of October 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
