1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Orders under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.



2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment



Order will be to introduce and revoke lengths of yellow lines as set out in the schedule to this Notice.

3. The general effects of the Prohibition of Stopping Outside Schools



Order will be to introduce school keep clear markings in Egerton Road, Twickenham as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -



(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 18/219, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and



(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov. uk/public_notices



5. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. Representations may also be sent by email to Trafficandengineering@richmond.gov.uk

Bishops Close, To introduce lengths of double yellow line ("no waiting Ham, Ham Common, at any time") on the western side of Petersham Ham and Petersham Road across the junction of Ham Common (opposite Road, Richmond: Sudbrook Lodge) and in Ham Common, on the south side at its junction with Petersham Road; the lines will extend into Bishops Close at its junction with Ham _Common._

Campbell Road, To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any

Egerton Road, To introduce school keep clear markings outside Twickenham: Richmond Upon Thames School. The markings will



be sited on the south-western side of Egerton Road outside the pedestrian and vehicular entrances. The restrictions will operate between 8am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, except public and bank

_holidays, August and 24-31 December._

Fulwell Park Avenue, To introduce lengths of double yellow line ("no waiting Twickenham: at any time") on the western side of the island site

3. The order will come into effect on 22 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 22 October 2018 and 16 November 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Allington Road, Rosslyn Road,



5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.



6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.



7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Parkshot, Richmond

(Ref: 18/215)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water main repair they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Parkshot, Richmond.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Parkshot in a north-bound direction between its junctions with Clarence Street and the A316.



3. The order will come into effect on 12 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 12 October 2018 and 14 October 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.



4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Clarence Street, Kew Road and the A316.



5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:



(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;



(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or



(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Briscoe Mews._

To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") on its eastern side, from the southern kerb-line

of Manor Gardens to the end of the cul de sac._

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Arlington Road, Twickenham

(Ref: 18/214)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Arlington Road, Twickenham.



2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Arlington Road, Twickenham between a point outside No 2 Arlington Road and a point ousted No 8 Arlington Road.
