The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Gorse Street, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Gorse Street from its junction with Burnley Road.

The closure is neccessary for the following reason: Drainage Excavations The Order will come into force on 15th October 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22nd October 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic will be Furthergate, Harwood Street, Stanley Street, Gorse Street

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians

will be maintained at all times.
