ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED -Section 14
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC CROFTON LANE ORPINGTON
NOTICE OF INTENTION
1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order for Network Rail to complete essential water proofing and structural works on the railway bridge at Crofton Lane THEY INTEND to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following restrictions on vehicular traffic:-
Crofton Lane Orpington will be closed to through traffic for up to nine days from Saturday 20* October 2018. The point of the closure will be at the railway bridge in between the junctions of Towncourt Lane and Beaumont Road.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-Crofton Lane Crofton Road Station Road Orpington High Street Chislehurst Road
2. THE Order will come into effect on Saturday 20* October 2018 with no specified finish date.
3. NOTHING in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or a Traffic Warden.
4. THE restriction referred to in this Order shall not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works
5. ACCESS to properties will be maintained as far as is practicable from either side of the closure as appropriate. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Emergency access and egress routes will be maintained at all times.
6. ALTHOUGH the Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months, it is expected that the actual works will take up to nine days to complete and will begin on or after the commencement date of the Order.
7. THE prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1 above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Luxted Road Downe will be closed to through traffic for up to one week from Saturday 20* October 2018. The point of the closure will be in between the junctions of Bird House Lane and Single Street.
Displaced traffic will be diverted via:-
Jail Lane
Main Road
Leaves Green Road
Downe Road
New Road Hill
Rookery Road
Downe High Street

The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 2018. (Various Locations)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice; Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order of 2003.
A copy of the proposed order, of the plans of the schemes and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.
ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Executive Director of Environment and Community Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/666 not later than 24* October 2018.
Persons objecting to the proposed order should be aware that under the
provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any
comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.
