The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen

(Branch Road, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018

NOTICE Is hereby given that the Blackburn

with Darwen Borough Council, Intend to make

the above Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of

the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order is to close Branch

Road from its junction with Bolton Road

Westwards for 10 metres.

The closure is necessary for the following

reason: Openreach Works

The Order will come into force on 21st

October 2018 and shall continue in force

for a period of eighteen months or until the

works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

However, it is anticipated that the works will

be completed by 21st October 2018.

The alternative route for the affected traffic

will be Bolton Road, Branch Road

Access for emergency vehicles and

pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
