1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.
2. The general effect of the above mentioned 'Free Parking Places' Orders would be to: -
(a) designate parking places on the carriageway at the locations listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice in which vehicles authorised by the 'Disabled Persons' Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking places would operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking places, that vehicles displaying in the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking places in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc.
(e) revoke the disabled persons parking places at the locations listed in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
3. The general effect of the "Parking Places Amendment" Orders would be to shorten in length or remove existing permit parking places in Dinton Road, Colliers Wood; Havelock Road, Wimbledon; Mitcham Park, Mitcham; and Sandringham Avenue, Wimbledon Chase, to facilitate the installation of disabled persons parking places in those roads.
4. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.
5. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively e-mail trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/DPPP20, no later than 26 October 2018.

4. All the roads boundedv by and including Rowan Road, by and including the junction of Manor Road with Rowan Road and Wide Way, by and including Wide Way, by South Lodge Avenue and by the generally eastern and northeastern boundary of the London Borough of Merton between South Lodge Avenue and Rowan Road.
LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
HIGH STREET MEWS, WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate electrical utility works in High Street Mews, Wimbledon, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait (including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle) in High Street Mews, Wimbledon.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Beverley Grove, Church Road, Courthope Road and High Street, Wimbledon.
6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into force on Monday 8 October 2018 and it is anticipated that works will be carried out over three weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
BRISBANE AVENUE, SOUTH WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate electrical utility works in Brisbane Avenue, South Wimbledon, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait (including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle) in Brisbane Avenue, from its junction with Kingston Road southward for a distance of 20 metres.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Melbourne Road, Kirkley Road and Kingston Road.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into force on Monday 29 October 2018 and it is anticipated that works would be carried out over five days. However, the Order would remain in force for 6 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
STATION ROAD, NEW MALDEN (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works in Station Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would:-
(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Station Road, the south-west and south-east sides, adjacent Policrom House, 9 Station Road; or
(b) enter or proceed in the footway adjacent to the lengths of road specified In sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed via the footway opposite.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or for the loading or unloading of construction delivery vehicles; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Monday 15 October 2018 and would remain in force for 12 months or until the works are completed, which Is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON JUNCTION IMPROVEMENTS AT THE JUNCTIONS OF GALPINS ROAD, THORTON HEATH, WITH SOUTH
LODGE AVENUE AND WITH BERKSHIRE WAY THE MERTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 460) ORDER 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 2 October 2018, made the above mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order will be to further amend the relevant Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) will be prohibited at any time at the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. A copy of the proposed Order, which will come into force on 15 October 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, Including a plan specifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, can be Inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above mentioned Order under sections 84 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
