ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 6 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 201* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 18/178)
1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6, and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order
is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult, and to discontinue a number of parking places previously provided where the demand for such bays no longer exists. This Notice replaces the one previously advertised on 31 August 2018.
3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time' in the following streets:

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical supply upgrade works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Ferry Road, Twickenham.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Ferry Road, between its junction with Riverside a point outside the rear of The White Swan Public House.
3. The order will come into effect on 29 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 29 October 2018 and 31 October 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure shall be via Ferry Road, Little Ferry Road and Riverside.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Old Palace Lane, Richmond

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Old Palace Lane, Richmond.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Old Palace Lane, from the western kerb-line of Old Palace Yard to a point outside the common boundary of Nos 20 and 21 Old Palace Lane.
3. The order will come into effect on 17 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 17 October 2018 and 19 October 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Access for local vehicular traffic will be maintained.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure St Leonards Road, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in St Leonards Road, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in St Leonards Road between its junctions with Sheen Lane and The Byeway. The works will be carried out om a rolling basis and access will be maintained for residents whenever possible.
3. The order will come into effect on 22 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 22 October 2018 and 16 December 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via St Leonards Road, Elm Road, South Circular Road and Sheen Lane.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as Indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Wichendon Road, Teddington

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water pipe repair, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Wichendon Road, Teddington.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Wichendon Road, between its junction with Stanley Road, Teddington and a point outside No. 3 Wichendon Road
3. The order will come into effect on 15 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 15 October 2018 and 17 October 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Stanley Road, Fulwell Road, Wellington Road, Clonmel Road and Winchendon Road and via Stanley Road and Wilcox Road.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer In uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
6. The prohibitions will apply only during such time and to such extent as Indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Old Bridge Street, Hampton Wick

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical connection works to an office, they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Old Bridge Street, Hampton Wick.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Old Bridge Street from its junction with High Street, Hampton Wick, eastwards for a distance of 30 metres.
3. The order will come into effect on 7 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force between 08.00 and 17.00 on 7 October 2018 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer In uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

5. Copies of the proposed Order, plans showing the location and effect of the proposals and the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order: -
(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 18/178 at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and
(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov. uk/public_notices
6. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ within 21 days of the date of this Notice giving the grounds of their objection. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 (1) Temporary Road Closure Coval Passage, East Sheen

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate a water connection, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order to restrict traffic in Coval Passage, East Sheen.
2. Whilst the works take place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Coval Passage between the western kerb-line of Temple Sheen Road and a point outside the common boundary of Nos 2 and 3 Coval Passage.
3. The order will come into effect on 31 October 2018. The restrictions will be in force at all times between 31 October 2018 and 2 November 2018. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Coval Passage, Coval Road, South Circular Road and Temple Sheen Road.
5. Nothing in this Notice will apply to:
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
