UK Power Networks has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consents under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on land at Ley Hill Common, Chesham. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. The Proposed works involve installing new underground electricity cables (high voltage and low voltage) and a 1.0m X 1.0m ground mounted substation on a 1.2m X 1.2m plinth. The cable route will be approximately seven metres in length. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Chesham Library, Elgiva Lane, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 2JD Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:00 (13:00 on Wednesday's) until Friday 191h October 2018.
