NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U72636 Lane From Hither Bush Lyde To A49, Lyde, Temporary Road Closure Order 2018,

U72636 Lane From Hither Bush Lyde To A49, Lyde, Temporary Road Closure Order 2018,

to temporarily prohibit theuse by vehicles from thejunction with the U72649 Hither Bush to the junction with the A49. OS Grid Ref:350083/244372. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A49 onto the C1103 Moreton Road onto the U73007 Upper Lyde Road and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 11th of October 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
