Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1205 Rhydunnog Lane To Powys Boundary, Longtown , Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1205 Rhydunnog Lane To Powys Boundary, Longtown, between Round House and Cayo Cottage. Grid Ref: 332342 / 227105. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1218 towards Walterstone onto the C1219 south over the Powys boundary onto the Llanfihangel Crucorney to Oldcastle road, onto the C1205 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to customer connection works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 4th of October 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
