NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 12th September 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6,45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 24th September 2018. The effect of the Orders would be fo:-
(a) introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) introduce Pay and Display/Pay by Mobile parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(c) introduce free parking places as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(d) introduce a disabled persons parking bay as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
A copy of the Orders may be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of making the Orders.
ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 12* September 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 82(1 )(a), 84(1 )(c), (1A) and (2), 87 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, and of all other powers thereunto enabling, which will come into operation on 24* September 2018.
The effect of the Orders would be to:-
(a) introduce/extend waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(b) extend the existing 30mph speed limit along Main Road, Biggin Hill between a point 25m south of the southern boundary of 'Fayreholm' and the borough boundary with Sevenoaks District Council;
(c) reduce the length of the 'At Any Time' waiting restrictions by 8m on the north side of Tonga Close, Beckenham at its junction with Eden Park Avenue;
(d) remove the resident permit bay outside Nos. 1 & 3 Pope Road, Bromley;
(e) reduce the length of the free parking place on the eastern side of Mortimer Road, Orpington by Sm at its southern end, and replace with Monday to Saturday 8am - 6.30pm waiting restrictions;
(f) extend the westernmost resident permit parking place on the south side of Scoffs Road, Bromley by 9m at Its western end;
(g) introduce new disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice;
(h) remove the disabled parking bays as specified in the Schedule to this notice.
