NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1120 From A49 To Old School House Via Moreton-On-Lugg, Moreton-On-Lugg, 20 meters either side of Moreton bridge. Grid Ref: 351219 / 245860. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1125 via Shelwick Green onto the A4103 onto the A49onto the C1120 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to level crossing maintenance works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 29th of September 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed over 3 weekends between the hours of 01.00hrs Saturdays and 04.15hrs Mondays, and finally 18th November 2018 for 1 night.
